Terms of Service

By using the dolbom service ("Service"), including the dolbom mobile app and WiFi sensor device, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

dolbom provides a WiFi sensor-based care service that detects the posture (standing, sitting, lying down) and activity status of elderly family members. The service includes:

• WiFi sensor hardware for posture and activity detection
• Caregiver mobile app for monitoring and alerts
• Elderly person's mobile app with simplified interface
• Family sharing for multiple caregivers
• Emergency connection feature (region-specific: 119/911/112)

THE SERVICE AND SENSOR ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

The posture and activity data provided is for informational and reference purposes only. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

The sensor may not detect all situations accurately. There may be false positives (incorrect alerts) or false negatives (missed events). Do not use this Service as your sole means of monitoring.

The emergency connection feature is a supplementary tool and does NOT replace directly calling emergency services (119/911/112).

• The feature may fail due to power outages, network issues, sensor malfunction, or other technical limitations
• There may be delays between anomaly detection and emergency connection
• The countdown mechanism allows cancellation of false triggers; if not cancelled, emergency services will be contacted automatically
• In an emergency, always call emergency services directly

You must be at least 13 years of age to create a caregiver account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

The elderly person being monitored (or their legal representative) must consent to the monitoring service before activation.

• The sensor is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription fees
• The sensor requires a powered WiFi router in the same space to function
• Installation is the user's responsibility; place the sensor in a central location as instructed in the app
• Do not disassemble, modify, or expose the sensor to water or extreme temperatures

Multiple family members may be invited to monitor the same elderly person. Each caregiver has equal access to posture and activity status. The primary caregiver (account creator) can manage sharing permissions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, dolbom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Service, including but not limited to failure to detect anomalies, delayed alerts, or emergency connection failures.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the sensor hardware.

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where prohibited by applicable law.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide at least 60 days' notice before terminating the Service entirely. Notice will be provided via email and in-app notification.

Upon termination, you may request export or deletion of your data.
